As you may have noticed, there is already a review of this kit in the site - just take a look at the 'Review Section'. It was written by Oliver Michael and I agree with almost everything he remarked. So, the point of this is mainly to add some pictures to a very good description of the kit. I really advise you to read it! The model is a fairly large one but the number of parts, around 430, is not exceptional. There are not too many curved things, most of the parts are reasonably big and, as Oliver wrote, the cardboard can be handled very well. As a conclusion it should be both easy and fast to build, right? That's what I thought but, well, how wrong I was! The proof is that I systematically underestimated the time needed to perform each task. The main reason is that the amount of edges is astounding. Przemyslaw Tabernacki, the designer, did an excellent job and if you want to do justice to this model, sharpen your knife and prepare to fold! But enough of blabla, let's go to the pictures: one to four are general views of the model. Pictures five and six show quite well what I said before about the number of edges to fold. Picture seven is a detail of the main entrance. The figure above the door is just 28mm high, including the cross. Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Picture 4 Picture 5 Picture 6 Picture 7

The pinnacle is very original, with that spiral stairway surrounded by eight columns. I decided to add a small strip of paper around the outer edge of the stairway. The view you get is of constant thickness, more appealing than the original upper and lower stairway faces glued together. It is much easier to make than it looks, as the strip of paper is just a straight one and can be glued progressively - Picture eight. Picture 8
Picture nine is a top view of the church. Let me conclude by saying that this kit was a joy to build and the final result is pretty impressive. This was my first 'Schreiber-Bogen Kartonmodellbau' kit but certainly not the last. I'm already looking forward to another one!
